What is fudbalski savez jugoslavije?

Fudbalski savez Jugoslavije (Football Association of Yugoslavia) was the governing body of football in Yugoslavia. It was founded in 1919 and dissolved in 2006 after the country disintegrated. The association was a member of FIFA and UEFA and organized the Yugoslav First League, the top division of club football in Yugoslavia. The Yugoslav national team was also under the umbrella of the Football Association of Yugoslavia and had several notable performances in international tournaments, including winning the European Championship in 1960 and reaching the World Cup semi-finals twice. However, the association was also plagued by allegations of corruption and political interference, and it ultimately failed to manage the fracturing of Yugoslavia in the 1990s.
